Memorial to be held for Middletown accident victim

MIDDLETOWN -

A memorial will be held tonight for the Middletown woman killed on the Major Deegan Expressway.

Jennifer Parisella, 30, was driving a van when she rear-ended a tractor-trailer on Saturday.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 14-year-old in the van was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A 12-year-old and 28-year-old in the van were also taken to a hospital in stable condition. The truck driver also went to a hospital in stable condition.

The memorial will be held at Watts Park at 7 p.m.
