The long arm of the law got its hands on the long nose of a runaway elephant in Westtown Sunday.
The elephant's longtime handler says Fritha escaped overnight from the Sanctuary for Animals in Westtown and was caught trying to steal a freshly delivered bale of hay not too far from her barn along William Lain Road.
Luckily for Fritha, police say no charges were filed.
