Fourth- and fifth-grade girls from throughout Westchester and the Bronx got the chance to learn about STEM careers.
Professionals from the American Association of University Women shared their insights with the girls at Ardsley Middle School in Ardsley.
The visitors shared information with the students about careers in the world of science and mathematics, which they say are primarily filled by men.
They also walked them through hands-on workshops.
It marked the fourth year for the event.
