Police found anti-Semitic speech and swastikas spray-painted on a home under construction in Cold Spring.
Officials say the swastikas were spray-painted outside a house on Brave Scout Trail Wednesday.
The owners of the home are Jewish, and the graffiti happened only days after a shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue killed 11 people.
“There is no room for hate in the Hudson Valley, certainly not in Cold Spring,” says Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney.

Maloney says his kids go to school within sight of the location of the home.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office says it is actively investigating the incident, adding that it may have leads.
The homeowner was at the house Thursday but was unwilling to speak on camera, saying he needs time to process the incident.

If investigators determine that this act was a hate crime, they say the charges could go up a level, which could turn a misdemeanor into a felony.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office says it has not identified any suspects or made any arrests yet.
