Group works to bail out incarcerated New Yorkers

A group wants to help incarcerated New Yorkers who cannot afford bail.
The RFK Mass Bail Out group rallied outside of the Brooklyn House of Detention before attempting to bail out a woman who was incarcerated inside Thursday.
However, the group was unsuccessful because they say the woman they intended to bail out was mistakenly taken to court.
The group says they will not disclose what crimes their subjects are accused of or what charges they are facing.
Instead, they say it is their goal to free women and young people who are jailed in New York City and cannot afford to pay bail.
The group says it is a collaborative effort made up of multiple grassroots groups and formerly incarcerated people.
