The National Weather Service has confirmed that a second powerful tornado touched down in the Hudson Valley on Tuesday.
The agency had already confirmed the EF-1 category tornado touched down in Rockland County.
A second tornado was confirmed in New Castle, where winds of up to 110 mph took down trees and power lines. here was also heavy damage in the communities of Chappaqua and Millwood.
"We lost virtually every tree that we have here," says Millwood resident Peter Kocher.

Kocher's home on Route 100 saw some of the worst damage caused by the tornado. He spent Wednesday chopping 80-foot high trees that used to shade his home.
Many residents were shut out of their homes for the night as many roads were closed Tuesday due to damage.
While no one was injured, the tornado is leaving residents questioning how they will recover.

"I put in a call to the insurance, so I'm waiting for a callback," says Kocher. "I just hope that everything is covered and we can put things back together."
Winds uprooted a tree onto a home on Quaker Lane in Chappaqua. A downed power line on Pinesbridge Road in Millwood caused a small fire in a nearby home by the breaker panel.  A few blocks from Pinesbridge, eight telephone poles were knocked down.
Also, Yorktown Heights fire officials say the storm somehow knocked down the power line outside the home and caused an electrical issue inside.
Utility crews have since restored power to hundreds of homes, but say it will take some time to repair all the power lines in the region.
Residents say they plan to continue cleaning up the mess in the following days and weeks. They say they hope this is not a taste of what's to come this winter.
