TV transforms Piermont into the fictional town of Wappinger Falls

Hollywood comes to the Hudson Valley once again.
Crews filming a show for a Netflix drama have transformed the business district of Piermont into the fictional town Wappinger Falls, not to be confused with the actual village in Duchess County named Wappingers Falls.
The sign outside the village hall has been changed to the fictional Wappinger Falls, and a police cruiser also reads Wappinger Falls.
The name of the show is being kept under wraps, but News 12 told it's in Season 3.
News 12 has been told a total of seven scenes will be shot, and that filming will wrap up by around 8 p.m. today.
