Back to School: Mentoring program

A program in the city is helping at-risk teens by pairing them with mentors.
'Preparing Leaders of Tomorrow,' or PLOT, pairs teens with mentors to demonstrate leadership qualities and to act as role models.
Candidates for the program include juvenile offenders.
Mentors spend four to six hours per month with mentees in their community.
Chris Myers and Tyheve Johnson were paired together in the program over two years ago.
Jonhson says he was struggling in school and wasn't focused, but with the help of Myers and the program he feels it's making a difference.
