A Middletown woman is accused of stealing nearly $4,000 while working as a home health care aide.

Police say 64-year-old Brenda Doyle admitted to stealing money on several occasions from inside a safe at the home where she worked in New Windsor. 

They say about $2,000 in stolen money was recovered.

Doyle is now facing felony grand larceny charges.
