A neighborhood in Orange County is in mourning after an elderly couple was found dead inside their home Monday night.

Tristan and Susan Laurion lived together on Pea Hill Road in Cornwall for years, and they evidently died together sometime in the span of the last few days or weeks.

Police say their death is not considered suspicious, but would not confirm the exact cause of death.

It is unknown who found the couple, but neighbors say the pair didn't have children. They also say Susan had been a local elementary school teacher and Tristan worked as chemist. They say the couple were in their late 80s and early 90s and were well-known in the community for their volunteer work and helping everyone they met. “Everyone on the street knew them. They were elegant people and made everyone, especially the newcomers, feel at home. And they'd do anything for you,” says neighbor Hal Janks.
