YONKERS -

A popular fundraiser is once again returning to the place it all started a few years ago.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is set to take place at Empire City Casino in Yonkers for its fifth year in a row.

One of the challenge's originators, Pat Quinn, was on hand Wednesday and plans to once again lead hundreds in the fundraiser to raise awareness for ALS.

This year's challenge will include music, food, games and prizes.

Mayor Mike Spano says the Ice Bucket Challenge will take place in Yonkers until they find a cure for ALS.
