Police: 3 NJ men face charges after firing guns in New York woods

Three Bergen County men are facing charges after police allegedly caught them firing off guns in the woods in Rockland County, New York.
Ramapo police say that calls came in for gunfire in the area of Creelman Road Sunday afternoon.
Police allegedly found the three men, all in their 20s, in possession of handguns, rifles and high-capacity magazines. They allegedly had marijuana on them as well.
The three men were arrested and taken to Rockland County Jail and held on $50,000 bail each.
Police say that the men were lucky no one was hurt.
“The potential for danger certainly was there,” said one police official.
The men are facing several gun charges and at least one felony.
