Unique works exhibited at White Plains Outdoor Arts Festival

Artists from all over came together in White Plains this weekend to show off their skills.

The annual White Plains Outdoor Arts Festival was held at Tibbits Park.
Vendors sold jewelry, artwork, wind chimes, and other unique finds.  "The arts tend to get neglected in the last few years or so, so I think to support the arts in general is a great thing. It's a different way of thinking, a different way of looking at the world," says D.D. Dolan, president of the White Plains Outdoor Arts Festival.
Organizers say money raised from the event will go to scholarships for White Plains students interested in extending their education in the arts.
