Tree service workers remain busy in Connecticut after storm

Tree service workers and utility crews across Connecticut are still working day and night to try and clean up after last week's powerful storm.
Carol Adams lives on North Beech Tree Road in Brookfield. Her home was built in 1830 and was nearly destroyed during the storm by the 250-year-old sugar maple tree on her property.
Adams says she has lived in Brookfield for 40 years and has never seen anything like what happened last week.
Adams hired Grimshaw Tree Services from Windsor to remove the massive tree. The crew said it would probably take all day Tuesday just to clear the one tree.
"It's almost 5 foot in diameter," said Fred Grimshaw, of Grimshaw Tree Services. "There's probably 60,000 pounds of material here I would imagine and it has to be removed one limb at a time."
Grimshaw said Adams is lucky her home wasn't leveled.
