Doctors advise taking allergy medicine early

If you suffer from seasonal allergies, you should take medicine before your symptoms begin, doctors say.
Dr. Sanjeev Rao from Fairfield Urgent Care says unusual fluctuations in the weather can hit people extra hard.
"It's the change in the weather -- the cold, the heat," he says, "Two or three days it was so hot, and then it's suddenly cold."
And as allergy season begins, Rao says he's still seeing new flu cases coming in.
Allergy sufferers around western Connecticut say they've begun to notice symptoms.
