Man arrested for breaking into home, attempting to sexually assault sisters

A man accused of breaking into a Brooklyn home and attempting to sexually assault two sisters while they were asleep has been arrested, police say.
Isaac Hernandez is accused of breaking into the home near 40th Street and 15th Avenue Tuesday before attempting to sexually assault a 14-year-old girl who was asleep inside her bedroom around 3 a.m.
According to police, the 14-year-old woke up to Hernandez lying next to her in her bed. The girl's 10-year-old sister was just feet away from her asleep in a separate bed, according to investigators.
Hernandez allegedly covered the girl’s mouth with his hand once she started screaming but police say her younger sister woke up and began screaming too.
Hernandez pulled up his pants before jumping out of an unlocked window, police say.
He was arrested Wednesday at the 77th precinct and charged with attempted rape, burglary, and endangering the welfare of a child.
