WHITE PLAINS -

A rally was held in White Plains Thursday to support union workers who recently lost their jobs.

The office building at 235 Main St. recently changed cleaning contractors about three weeks ago.

Seven union workers from 32BJ SEIU lost their jobs after the building apparently contracted the work to non-union employees.

A union leader told News 12 that a petition with about 50 names has been created to help get the workers back their jobs.

News 12 reached out to the management of the building but has not heard back .
