Kids at Blythdale Children's Hospital in Valhalla got a visit from a special guest Friday.

The Easter Bunny came to the hospital – bringing gifts, candy and eggs.

The event was put on by Westchester County Legislator Virginia Perez.

She says she wanted to bring the Easter Bunny to special needs kids so they wouldn't miss out on the holiday fun.

"Every parent wants a fun-loving healthy child and not every parent gets it, but if we can give them just one second of joy, I'm going to do that," she says.

Perez says she plans on putting on the event next year.
