New Rochelle is offering a program that lets people rent low-cost bikes.
The bikes are available to rent for $2 for 30 minutes.
New Rochelle city manager Chuck Strome says the city rolled out 50 bikes at 11 locations across New Rochelle this month. Fifty more will be added by April 20.
Despite four nor’easters blowing through this month, the bikes have already been used nearly 900 times.

Using a bike is pretty simple: Just download the New Rochelle Bike sharing app and use the app to scan the QR code on the bike before heading out.

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano announced at his State of the City address that Yonkers will be getting a dockless bike sharing program sometime next month.
