Teen accused of making threat against Stamford HS

A 15-year-old student is accused of threatening violence against Stamford High School.
Police say another student spotted the threat around 12 p.m. Tuesday and immediately told the school resource officer, who contacted authorities.
Students say the threat was written in a boys bathroom. Police say officers quickly identified who was behind it and contained and arrested the boy. He faces charges of felony threatening and breach of peace.
Police say no one was ever in any danger and that officers determined the student didn't have the means to carry out the threat.
Students say they learned about the threat and arrest during announcements made by the principal before they went home Tuesday.
Police say they have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to school threats, especially in the wake of recent school shootings. They commend the student who reported the threat to the school resource officer.
