Bridgeport students discuss gun violence with Sen. Blumenthal

Students from Central High School in Bridgeport met with United States Sen. Richard Blumenthal Monday to discuss gun violence prevention.
Blumenthal told student organizers that they have Congress' attention, but they'll have to keep up the pressure.
"In any social change movement in this country, young people have led the way, whether it's civil rights or anti-war or marriage equality," he said.
Two weeks ago, students from Bridgeport and throughout western Connecticut staged school walkouts, demanding more gun control laws. On Saturday, millions more marched in Washington, D.C. and New York, as well as in Stamford and Hartford.
