YONKERS -

Yonkers marked St. Patrick's Day with its annual parade Saturday down McLean Avenue.

The parade was led by the Yonkers Police Department and Grand Marshal Anne Anderson, Ireland's first female ambassador to the United States.

Bag pipes, marching bands and a whole lot of green set the scene.

People traveled from all over to participate in the tradition that has been a part of Yonkers for more than 60 years.
