Wednesday's nor'easter brought a decent amount of snowfall to Yonkers.
The downtown area was silent as snow continued falling Wednesday night. Earlier in the day at the waterfront, residents said they were enjoying the snow and not too worried about their safety.
Bee-Line buses were operating on limited schedules for most of the day, but later wound up being suspended systemwide.
Yonkers public schools and libraries were closed Wednesday. Some business owners on the waterfront said they had no plans of closing up shop, despite the weather. Alternate-side parking was suspended.
