Crowds gathered in Pearl River Sunday for the Rockland County St. Patrick's Parade.
Officials say that thousands of people came to see the parade.
"It brings the families together. My husband is marching in the parade, so it should be a fun day," one reveler told News 12.
Sponsored by the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the parade celebrated its 56th anniversary.
The parade route marched along East Crooked Hill Road and through town before ending on South Main Street.
The show of Irish pride is the second largest St. Patrick's Day parade in the state, after only the New York City parade.
