NY Medical College students learn residency placement results

Medical students in Valhalla learned Friday which hospital they would complete their residency at.

New York Medical College held its 'Match Day,' an important event where senior medical students found out what their next step would be. Some students wanted to stay close to family and friends while others were open to going to any hospital. 

The vice dean of the School of Medicine says the day is important not only for the future doctors, but also the community.
