Somers residents still without power following nor'easter

Thousands of residents remained without electricity Monday in northern Westchester due to damage left behind by Friday's storm.
The Heritage Hills Activity Center in Somers is open around the clock with cots for people without power to sleep on.
As of Monday night, more than 80 percent of NYSEG customers in Somers were in the dark.
Residents like Jim Brandon slept in the frigid temperatures, not willing to leave his dog alone in the cold.
"You got no TV, no internet, no nothing. You got to get out of the house. That's what we are doing now, we are walking to stay warm," he said.
NYSEG said it expected to have power restored to 90 percent of its customers by Tuesday night.
