High nor'easter winds cause downed trees, power outages

A massive tree fell onto Palmer Road and Kingston Avenue in Yonkers Saturday due to the nor'easter's fierce winds, blocking traffic to the road.
Workers worked to cut the tree into smaller pieces, after which Con Edison workers will move in to patch up the lines affected.
Similar incidents were seen across the Hudson Valley after Friday's storm, including more downed trees, signs and power outages at homes and businesses.
Police also say a car ended up in the Saw Mill River just off the Saw Mill River Parkway south of Odell Avenue.
They say no one was injured.
