3rd arrest made in fatal Bed-Stuy home invasion

A third arrest was made Friday in a fatal home invasion that took place last October in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Howard Morris, 44,  taken into custody nearly four months after police say he and two other suspects broke into an elderly couple's home on Decatur Street.
The home invasion took place on Oct. 11 and resulted in the death of 91-year-old Waldiman Thompson.
Police say three people broke into Thompson's home that he shared with his 100-year-old wife, Ethlin.
They say the suspects tied up the elderly couple and covered their heads with pillow cases. Ethlin was able to break free and call police, but her husband did not survive the attack.
In the months that followed the attack, police arrested Dwayne Blackwood and Suzette Troutman in connection with the case.
All three suspects are facing the same charges: second-degree murder, assault and burglary.
