One street in Yonkers is still looking like it's Christmas, with lights still lining the road.
The lights remain up along McClean Avenue because the company responsible for taking them down has not come by to do so.
"I called the company and he tells me because of the below-average temperatures and the snow, it's hard for them. They have to schedule not just this avenue but all the avenues they work with," says R.J. Puma, owner of Artuso's Pastry Shop.
Puma, who is also the chairman of the Merchant's Association, says that despite the delay, the lights will be down in about a week or two.
"At night because it gets so dark early, it still looks nice at night because the streets are still lit up," he says.
