Unseasonably warm weather boosts traffic at WC businesses

The weekend's pleasant weather was a boon for downtown businesses in Westchester that rely on foot traffic for sales.
After weeks of deep freeze and stormy weather kept people away from downtown areas in places like Tarrytown, residents were out and about.
Hassan Jarane, of Mint Premium Foods, says foot traffic shot up 70 percent over the weekend thanks to the warmer weather.
"It's crazy. [On Saturday] we didn't have space for everyone here. The same with today. The weather makes a big difference," Jarane says.
