A Yonkers man is pleading for help after he has gone five days without running water.
Outside of Raj Agravat's home on Canfield Avenue are orange cones and metal plates. It's all in part of ongoing work being done on the gas line by Con-Edison.
But after last week's snow storm and sub-zero temperatures, the pipes have frozen, including the pipes in his house.
Agravat says he has called Con-Edison and the city but hasn't had any luck.
A city spokesperson tells News 12 they cannot repair the pipe because it is on private property.
In a statement, Con-Edison said, "We don't have anything conclusive that the pipes freezing had anything to do with that excavation."
Agravat says he is concerned his water issue will snowball into an even bigger, and more costly, problem.
