The Acme Supermarket on McLean Avenue in Yonkers is temporarily closing its doors for renovations.
Construction is already well underway at the 42,000-square-foot supermarket.

The store will shut its doors for nearly two months, starting Thursday, for a complete overhaul.
Acme officials say the store will be transformed into a state-of-the-art supermarket in less than 60 days.

The newly renovated Yonkers Acme will include a full-service butcher and seafood department, a new bakery and a wide selection of organic and gluten-free foods.
It is set to open on Feb. 22.
News 12 has learned that the employees of the Yonkers supermarket will work at other Acme locations in Westchester until the store reopens.
