Record cold wreaks havoc across country

The record cold is wreaking havoc all over the country.
The National Guard is now deployed to help people in Erie, Pennsylvania. That area is buried under more than five feet of snow. A state of emergency was declared to help residents and law enforcement.
Firefighters in upstate Lorraine, New York had to shovel out more than six feet of snow to get a woman out of her home. She was trapped by the weight of the snow. Nearby Oswego County is under a state of emergency after getting about three feet of snow.
People in Green Bay, Wisconsin are used to the cold but the Coast Guard has had to begin ice breaking operations in the Bay of Green Bay.
