A special benefit concert was held for kids at the Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla Friday morning.
CBS-FM’s Scott Shannon and the Morning Show kicked off The Annual Holiday Spectacular at 6 a.m. today.
Jason Mraz and Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty were just a few of the big names to take part in the event.
The annual event also features a Rock and Roll auction that raises thousands for Blythedale.
Last year's benefit raised more than $90,000. This year, proceeds will support Blythedale’s Graduate Medical Education Program which provides education and training for the next generation of medical professionals. The goal this year was to raise $100,000.
The hospital is also welcoming any and all donations that will help patients have a merry Christmas.
