A new report ranks Yonkers as the 15th safest city in the United States.
WalletHub, a personal finance website, conducted a study that compared crime statistics in the 150 most-populated cities in the nation. Yonkers placed No. 1 in New York state and 15th overall.
Authors looked at three key areas when composing the list, including home community safety, financial safety and risk of a natural disaster.
While some are enthusiastic about the "safe city" designation, others are suspect about the WalletHub study.
"You got to walk around looking over your shoulders constantly," says resident John Cardone. "I don't feel safe at all."

Nashua, New Hampshire, was ranked the safest in the U.S.
