YONKERS -

Volunteers are packing up medical supplies today at the Afya Foundation in Yonkers which will be sent to help Syrian refugees in the Middle East.

The Multifaith Alliance for Syrian Refugees volunteers teamed up with the foundation to bring everything from syringes, medical gloves, gauze pads and more into the hands of doctors on the ground in Syria.

The supplies will be packed and shipped out the first week of the New Year through Israel and into southern Syria.
