Family, friends mourn loss of man killed in Stratford fire

Officials are trying to determine what sparked a house fire that left a man dead in Stratford.
The fire broke Saturday around 5 p.m. on Melville Street.
When crews arrived, there were flames pouring out of the second floor windows.
According to officials, when they found the victim, Jim Boss, in his second-floor bedroom, he had already died.
A couple driving in the area at the time of the fire captured some video.
"My heart goes out to the family and friends of the victim for this crazy tragedy, especially so close to the holidays and everything like that," says Mike Lozanov of Bridgeport.
Officials say Boss lived with his wife and son, who were staying with relatives that night.
The house is uninhabitable at this time.
