NEW ROCHELLE -

A New Rochelle native and Army private was fatally shot in Washington state early Sunday morning as he and his wife were trying to run from an altercation.

Pvt. Da'quan Foster was shot multiple times after running away from an argument he wasn't involved in outside a Tacoma, Washington, nightclub.

The alleged trigger man is waiting to face a judge.

Foster was a 2013 graduate of New Rochelle High School. He leaves behind his wife and young daughter.

His friends have set up a GoFundMe Page in his honor to help his family with funeral expenses.
