Legoland receives green light to build in Goshen

Lego fans in the Hudson Valley will soon have another place to play.
Merlin Entertainments has been given the green light to build a theme park in the town of Goshen.
"I think this is huge for our state, also going to be a major impact for our region and my county," says Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus.
Neuhaus says that includes jobs and more money from tourism and sales tax.
Some residents who live close to the site don’t think it's good for the community. Judy Andrews has been fighting along with other residents due to their concerns about water, traffic and financial concessions.
Neuhaus expects the state to make some changes to accommodate the growth.
Legoland New York is set to open in 2020.  It will be the developer's third Lego park built in the United States.
