Volunteers, residents paint mural at Edenwald Center

PLEASANTVILLE -

Volunteers from across Westchester County came together Sunday for a so-called "Fall Freshtival" at a center for children and young adults with emotional and cognitive disabilities.

The volunteers and residents of the Edenwald Center in Pleasantville made the facility even brighter and more cheery by working together to paint a mural.

Volunteers say the team activity helps the children and young adults who live there realize they are not alone.

Volunteers also collected and packed toiletries for the young people living on the campus.
