Gov. Cuomo dispatches team to help battle CA wildfires

YONKERS -

Gov. Andrew Cuomo is dispatching a firefighting team to assist in the battle against the California wildfires.

A crew of 20 employees and volunteers from the State DEC departed Sunday morning for California.  

The New York team is expected to support California's firefighting efforts for two weeks.

The arrival comes as firefighters are beginning to gain an advantage over the blazes.
