Protest marks 16th anniversary of US invasion of Afghanistan

Over a dozen protesters gathered outside Trump Tower at City Center today, holding signs and calling for an end to the war in Afghanistan.
The United States first invaded Afghanistan on Oct. 7 2001 as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sixteen years later, thousands of American soldiers have been killed, and there seems to be no end in sight to the war.
The demonstration in White Plains is part of a nationwide Afghanistan War protest that is taking place this week.
