Security increased at MSG for Katy Perry concert

The NYPD’s Counterterrorism Bureau helped guard Madison Square Garden Monday night for the Katy Perry concert there on the night after a deadly mass shooting at an outdoor concert in Las Vegas.
Security has since been stepped up throughout New York City as a precautionary measure, with additional barricades and officers on hand, according to officials.
"Waking up this morning, seeing news of what happened and coming here to big venue -- seeing them take the right precautions made me feel safe," says attendee Carlos Fuentes.
Counterterrorism expert Sal Lifrieri says awareness is the key to keeping safe.
"They need to pay attention to where they are and how to be able to get out," he advises concertgoers.
