NYPD’s top cop returns to Rockland Community College

NYPD Commissioner James O’Neil was at Rockland Community College Tuesday to speak to students about his first-hand experiences on the force.
O’Neil spoke about terrorism, neighborhood policing and what it takes to be a member of the NYPD during his talk.
“If they are going to go into this line of work, I just them to know they need to do it for the right reasons,” said O’Neil. “I came on this job to do good and to make a difference.”
O’Neil, who used to teach at RCC, says he hopes he made an impact on students.
