Pilot uninjured after crash landing in Tuxedo

A pilot was not injured after crash landing Friday afternoon into a field in Tuxedo between the New York Thruway and Route 17A.
The pilot of the Starduster SA-100 told News 12 that he had engine trouble and saw smoke, which forced him to make the emergency landing around 1:30 p.m.
"I had some sort of engine trouble. Had a lot of smoke and was concerned I'd have fire in the airplane and made an emergency landing," said Dana Hague.
Hague says he was flying in from Connecticut for the weekend. He was the only person on board.
