Orange County group drives to FL to assist Irma victims

A group of five friends picked up the last of donated supplies Monday afternoon before heading to assist with Hurricane Irma relief efforts in Florida.
"We're going to go down and help out as best we can,” said volunteer Chris Guidice. “It's five sets of hands that aren't there and weren't originally there. Hopefully we can do good things."
The group arranged for the collection of relief supplies at four Orange County locations, including A Better Place Bar and Grill on Route 32 in Central Valley where they spent the afternoon loading vans and SUVs.
They say they plan to head to Tampa first and stay a week in Florida, assisting in any way they can and donating water, diapers, nonperishable food and medical supplies.
