Harrison restaurant celebrates 20-year anniversary

Posted: Updated:
HARRISON -

A restaurant in Harrison celebrated two decades of service on Sunday.

Casa D'Italia opened in 1997 and has since become a Harrison staple. The restaurant's owners say they moved from the Bronx to Harrison to live their dream of owning a restaurant but never imagined the success they would achieve.

"We love what we do and we are so proud of what we do and we are so grateful to all of the customers, their loyalty," says co-owner Lucy Selvaggio. "We love Harrison so we just want to give back and why not celebrate?"

The owners celebrated the restaurant's 20-year anniversary by rolling out the red carpet and treating customers to free sweets and music.
