A Hastings-on-Hudson school security guard has been charged in a quadruple killing last year — and he's accused of helping a former cop carry out the crime.
Federal prosecutors announced charges Thursday against Joseph Biggs, a 55-year-old Nanuet man, in the deaths of Martin and Miguel Luna, Urbano Santiago and Hector Gutierrez. Authorities did not name the school where Biggs works.
Investigators found the victims' bodies on an Otisville property in Orange County. The landowner, retired police officer Nicholas Tartaglione, was arrested earlier in the same case.
Prosecutors say the victims were killed at the Liquid Lounge in Chester after a drug deal there went bad. Both defendants also face firearms and kidnapping charges.
A woman who answered the door at Biggs' home declined to speak with News 12, but neighbors said they were shocked to hear of the accusations.
He is due back in court June 7.
