Students at a Westchester middle school are trying to spread a message of kindness through artistic expression.
At Anna Dorner Middle School in Ossining, students have created the "Be Kind Mural," a unique project overseen by Ben's Bells, an organization that helps with community projects around the country.
Students create their own tiles for the mural, which are then mounted on the project for a combined message of kindness, and serve as a reminder to spread that message every day.
The message resonates even more in the aftermath of terrifying events such as the recent Manchester bombing.
"If you spread kindness, it will grow and gets bigger and bigger and there won't be another tragedy," says Ben's Bells volunteer Barbara Waters.
