OSSINING -

It was a traffic headache during the morning commute for some drivers today after an overturned truck closed a portion of Route 9A in Ossining.

Police say a truck carrying water tipped over on the southbound side of the highway near the Route 9 and 9A split around 6:15 a.m.

Traffic was backed up for miles until crews could get the truck upright and off the road around 7:30 a.m.

Officials say there were minor injuries, but everyone should be OK.
